To celebrate the premiere of Hulu’s Chad Powers, Momentum partnered with Walmart and Smash Kitchen to transform a South Austin Walmart parking lot into an all-out football tailgate. The sold-out event brought together Glen Powell, his dog Brisket, celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni, tailgate-inspired food and games, a field goal photo op, and an exclusive screening of the series.
On a fast-turn timeline, I led the design development for the experience, working with a large creative team to bring a football-inspired visual world to life across the space and its many touchpoints. The result was a high-energy, cohesive experience that brought Chad Powers, Smash Kitchen, and Walmart together in a way that felt playful, unexpected, and distinctly Austin.
